The WorkHomeLife Planner started as a personal solution I created for a I problem I had been wrestling with for decades.
You see, I am a self-employed, mother of two vivacious, young lads. I own a home and am responsible for planning meals, scrubbing toilets, folding laundry, paying the bills, shopping, shuttling, and wiping runny noses when they happen.
Back in "my day", nobody was ever diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder or the like. Therefore, I was never treated for it nor did I learn the proper tools for dealing - and living - with A.D.D..
I struggled on a daily basis with structure, organization, scheduling, and prioritizing (just to name a few). This struggle saw me through numerous jobs, relationships, and mess-ups, in general, over the course of many years - adolescence through my late-30's. I was finally diagnosed with A.D.D. when I was 29. But, I didn't do anything about it until I turned 40. Yikes!!
As a business owner, I was finally tired and fed up with trying tool after tool, but to no avail. Nothing, it seemed, could keep me on task, organized, and focused.
I had tried countless daily planners, calendars, apps, reminders, buzzers, and timers. I was never able to stick to a single one. The reason? Simply put, I needed a simple planner that was easy to use and had all the categories I required on a daily basis. So, I created one.
I paged through all of my tattered notebooks, scanned my old "to do" lists, read all my random ramblings about what is frustrating me at that moment, and scrutinized my countless calendars and planners. I knew there was a solution amidst the chaos that is my beautiful, mysterious brain.
Finally, I came up with my personal daily planner.
The tool that FINALLY worked for me.
Unlike many of the daily planners out there, the Work, Home, Life Planner is spread across two full, 8.5" x 11" pages! It's big! And it's a dandy!
The pages are conveniently undated with categories tailored specifically for daily tasks you face at work, home, and your personal life. Plus, there is bonus space for random ramblings, notes, doodles, or brain dumps.
Keep track of chores, purchases, shopping lists, meal planning, activities, appointments, phone calls, emails, exercise and diet, priorities, and to-do's.
More importantly, keep track of the things you are thankful for, things you really kicked butt at that day, and things you maybe fell a little short on.
All in all, this planner is flexible enough to meet the needs and demands of most people looking for a tool to add to their A.D.D. toolbox. The price is right and the quality is what you would expect from a printer based in the United States of America!
Now, I will be the first to admit this planner may not work for everyone. Everyone has different needs. But if it works as well for a few people as it has for me, then that's awesome!
Good luck in this journey to enjoying a more organized life!
